This is my personal home on the web.
I work across professional leadership, voluntary service, and ongoing study, based in the UK and primarily across the South East of England. Rather than treating these as separate parts of my life, I am interested in how they connect in practice, how responsibility is carried across different contexts, and how people are supported to make a difference where they are.
Professionally, I work as a Business Manager within the technology and AV distribution sector, operating in organisational environments where decisions shape people, systems, and outcomes over time. Alongside this, I hold senior volunteer leadership responsibility within St John Ambulance, contributing both at regional level and through national leadership roles that support volunteers, governance, and service delivery across the organisation.
In addition to active leadership roles, I have experience in trusteeship and governance through long-standing involvement with community and voluntary organisations, including work focused on grant-making, stewardship, and place-based community impact. These roles have shaped how I understand accountability, decision-making, and the responsibilities that come with holding authority on behalf of others.
Alongside work and service, I am completing a BA (Hons) in Business Leadership and Management through a degree apprenticeship. My academic focus sits close to practice, exploring leadership, organisational life, ethics, and applied judgement as they are lived rather than theorised.
For me, leadership is mostly about supporting people and making a difference. That principle is not tied to title or status. It shows up in everyday decisions, in how space is created for others, and in how responsibility is shared rather than performed.
This site exists as a quiet, long-term place to hold those strands together. It is not a campaign, a platform, or a vehicle for advocacy. It is a personal space for reflection and writing shaped by experience, with particular attention to leadership, volunteer leadership, trusteeship, community impact, and the space between formal roles.
Writing appears here from time to time, without a fixed schedule or agenda. You are welcome to look around.
